Nothing to say

I just felt like I should update this.  Our game seems like it is going to be the most ridiculous thing ever, but I can't wait to see how it turns out.  In video game related news, Halo Reach is incredibly incredible and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit looks insanely realistic and awesome. This is a good year to be a gamer.

 
Tyler and I are The Fighting Mongooses.  We haven't decided on roles just yet, but something tells me I'll be doing most of the code while Tyler checks things over.  I'm glad we're working as a team because even when we were making the mini game, I messed up simple things which Tyler did right.  Hopefully there won't be any creative differences.  I just hope Rocky the Laser Gator will qualify for educational...

Outside of school

Yes, I do play video games in my free time.  I usually play Grand Theft Auto IV, Halo 3, Red Dead Redemption, or Assassin's Creed 2.  GTA and Halo 3 are fun for multiplayer on Xbox Live, while Red Dead and AC2 have addictive single player gameplay.  The article doesn't really give me a new perspective about playing video games, but it does give me perspective on how tough it is going to be to make one.

Genre

I would really like to make an action game.  I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to make it educational, but I'm going to have to try.  If all else fails, I would probably make an adventure game.  This would be so much easier if it could just be a mindless shooting game.
